Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Position Summary: This position is in the Office of the Attorney General within the Executive Staff unit in Tallahassee, Florida.
Pay: $80,000 - $110,000 Annually, commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
A bachelor of Arts degree or 4 years of experience in public relations, and familiarity with social media and other Internet-based communications tools
The Work You Will Do: The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
Digital Director is responsible for overseeing the digital strategy of the OAG. They manage how information is presented online, ensuring that it is accessible, engaging, and effective in reaching the public. This role typically involves leading social media strategies, content creation, web design, and digital campaigns, while also maintaining consistency with messaging and policies.
Duties include:
1. Developing and executing digital communication strategies for the government or specific agencies.
2. Managing social media accounts and other digital platforms (websites, apps, etc.).
3. Ensuring the digital content aligns with broader communication and policy goals.
4. Monitoring digital trends and leveraging technology to enhance public engagement.
5. Collaborating with other communication teams and government departments.
6. Crisis communication in the digital space during emergencies or sensitive issues.
It’s a strategic role that requires expertise in digital marketing, communication, data analysis, and a deep understanding of government processes and priorities.
