The Role

The Communications Lead for Kyndryl United States’ is responsible for the planning, development, and execution of comprehensive communications platforms for industry business lines, business operations, and several executives on the leadership team aligned to the country and company's business goals. A member of the Kyndryl US Communications team within Corporate Affairs, this individual works closely with subject matter experts, business leaders, and internal and external partners, and contributes broadly to the goals of cultivating an engaged workforce and building and protecting the company's reputation among key internal and external stakeholders. 

The incumbent will lead the creation of compelling communications content, including speeches, visual presentations, blogs, scripts, newsletters, digital assets, and more that ladder up to the broader communications strategies for Kyndryl United States.

Responsibilities

  • OVERALL: Develop, create, and deploy strategic content that clearly communicates the priorities of Kyndryl’s business in the United States, raises the profile of its business leaders, and deepens its stakeholders’ understanding of and belief in Kyndryl.

  • EMPLOYEE COMMUNICATIONS: Gain deep understanding of employee cohorts across the designated markets and teams and develop relevant content to inspire and motivate them around Kyndryl US’ mission and purpose. Establish a framework for consistent and high-quality executive communications to stakeholders. Produce newsletters, blogs, videos, social media posts, and/or other engagement vehicles. Produce live events, virtual and in-person, including town halls and employee trainings. 

  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Establish and maintain a solid internal and external network of collaborators and stakeholders, including senior executives across and beyond both teams. Collaborate with senior business leaders, provide advice and counsel, and articulate an informed point of view on how strategic communications can advance the business goals of Kyndryl’s US business. 

  • CHANNEL MANAGEMENT: Maintain complex mailing lists; manage internal SharePoint pages, online employee communities, and newsletters; advise on stakeholder communications; and oversee and refine social media strategies. 

  • MEASUREMENT: Measure and assess data to evaluate and evolve approaches to making data-driven recommendations for improving communications programs. Analyze audience to understand strategic positioning, messages, and mediums that will be most effective. Use data to understand behaviors and sentiment, and to create programs that engage audiences with relevant information through a content and delivery ecosystem.

  • EXECUTIVE EMINENCE: Assess and pursue potential thought leadership opportunities for key executives including speaking and media opportunities. Develop key narratives for executives that align with broader themes across Kyndryl United States. Leverage narratives to create compelling and effective content, such as media pitches, byline articles, blog posts, scripts for external speaking opportunities and social media content. Manage the development and creation of briefing documents, talking points and related materials and provide on-site and real-time support, as needed. Create and maintain executive engagements calendar in partnership with executives and broader Corporate Affairs team in US and globally. 

If you are hired, the anticipated compensation range for the position $71,240 to $162,430 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

If this is a sales role, you may be eligible for additional incentive compensation opportunities. For non-sales roles, you may be eligible for Kyndryl’s Growth Driven Profit-Sharing plan.
