Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Communications Coordinator with marcomms tasks
- Writing marketing and communications content, including newsletters, blog posts, press releases, and more
- Creating social media content and assisting with social media campaign strategy and implementation
- Collaborate with marcomms teams on new ideas, campaigns, and tools for marketing and communications
- Graphic design help
- Event planning tasks as needed
- Performing general marcomms administrative tasks as needed
- Demonstrate a commitment to developing a thorough knowledge and application of the Sanctuary model and other organizational policies & practices.
- Participate in staff development, in-services, and training related to workplace effectiveness; model professional behaviors and implement improvements to business practices with awareness of their impact in a trauma-informed behavioral healthcare organization.
- Interest in the field of communications
- Completed or working towards a B.A. in communications, English, Public Relations, or related field
- Strong communications skills: Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communications skills
- Strong organizational skills and time management skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
- Strong writing skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
- Graphic design experience preferred
- Understanding of the basic principles of public relations and media relations preferred
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Su
