SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii’s (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.
We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Operations Supervisor [Shop Foreman] to join our Maintenance Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to execute the planned daily activities of the Maintenance Quality Control section. This position reports to the Maintenance Division Manager.
We are seeking to hire a Maintenance Operations Supervisor/Shop Foreman to join our Maintenance Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii to oversees and facilitates progress of work across all maintenance repair actions across the general work order process. This position works under the general guidance and supervision the Maintenance Division Manager. This position provides direct supervision for all Automotive, Ground Support, and Allied trades work center assigned direct labor personnel.
Primary Functions (consist of but are not limited to):
- Facilitates, executes, and manages daily workload priorities, as determined by the maintenance division manager, across commodity-specific work order-driven repair tasks and related administrative actions.
- Ensures equitable amounts of labor are applied to WON specific maintenance repair tasks, across Base Operations, PASSABCK, RESET, and/or customer-funded Reimbursable programs.
- Manages daily workload by providing the technical guidance needed to ensure both progress and completion of work occur within prescribed Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) and Maintenance Priority Designator (MPD) timeline standards.
- Provides troubleshooting or diagnostic assistance, as needed, during In-Process (Discovery) inspection actions.
- Generates LAR assistance requests, when Technical Manuals, Bulletins, or commercial equivalent publications are exhausted for fault resolution and/or troubleshooting guidance.
- Reviews daily timesheets, for completeness and accuracy, validating labor code entry, man-hour application, and CLIN assignment, prior to daily upload into GCSS-A and UNANET.
- Reviews all maintenance documentation for TAMMS completeness and accuracy IAW DAP 750-8, prior to submission to quality control for final inspection (i.e. DA2404, DA2407-1, DA5988e, DA5990e, etc.).
- Ensures “Stop-Work” orders are implemented, as directed by the maintenance division manager; ensuring progress of work is documented, tracked and reported via management reports and listing to ensure seamless transition for workload once rescinded.
- Additional administrative duties include but are not limited to; Training/Lesson Plan development, Personnel Evaluation (Counseling/Disciplinary actions), WON status updates (GCSS-A & M3 Daily Situation Report), GCSS-A WON task and Labor entry.
Requirements
Education/Experience/Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Seven (7) years of applicable Army Maintenance experience preferred.
- Broad technical knowledge across U.S. Army maintenance operations, AR 750-1, DAP 750-8.
- Current Hawaii Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
