As a Global Security Area Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all security operations needs and requirements, overseeing a contract guard force, while ensuring a safe and secure working environment for multiple sites across a geographical span. You will also support Global Security initiatives to strengthen relationships with internal customers, business partners, and third party suppliers. You will be expected to lead the daily security operations for your locations and execute strong vendor performance. This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of security best practices, exceptional leadership abilities, and the ability to drive effective security measures to protect our organization's assets.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee all daily security operations within your assigned area(s)

  • Work closely with business partners to align security concepts with internal customer needs

  • Develop, implement, and maintain security operations procedures, policies, and protocols

  • Supervise all evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs

  • Monitor staffing and budget impacts

  • Assist with security and safety awareness training programs

  • Assist with project related security strategies

  • Collaborate with key partners to build innovative solutions to complex problems

  • Ensure compliance with Global Security standards and programs 

 

What you must have:

  • 7+ years experience in security operations management (in-house)

  • 3+ years experience in personnel management

  • Knowledge in areas of physical security, critical incident management, emergency procedure protocols and threat assessments.

  • Proven experience in security operations management, preferably in a regional or multi-site environment. 

  • Experience in a corporate or institutional security/safety role

  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, and relationship building.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity

  • Ability to work well and collaboratively with others

 

Bonus Points!

  • ASIS CPP, PSP, APP or RIMS-CRMP professional designation

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Security Management or related field

  • Experience with site security assessments or force protection design

  • Previous exposure to threat and risk analysis

 

The salary range for this position is $103,400 - $152,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
