Job Description

As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Morning Shift in Pleasant Prairie, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout designated areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will be expected to interact professionally with employees, visitors, and guests, offering assistance and clear communication as needed. This is a driving post, so you will need to meet Allied Universal’s driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as required by site guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed logs of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
