• ​This job is a member of the Payroll Team within the Finance Division.
• ​Responsible for handling employee payroll questions via phone, chat, email, etc.

What you'll do

• Explains and interprets complex payroll information to employees at all levels of the organization
• Uses analytical skills to identify and address potential issues
• Assists in specialized processing and assigned projects, requiring more detailed knowledge of payroll procedures.
• Reviews audit reports for processing errors and request corrections as necessary
• Researches employee questions and provide resolution, as dictated by company policy
• Organizes and maintains records to enable special processing that reduces the occurrences of incorrect payroll payments
• Assists in special projects and testing of new processing systems
• Provides training as needed
• Communicates all discrepancies to payroll supervisor

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• ​Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• 3 years of business experience
• Familiarity with accounting principles relating to funds disbursements, payroll tax statutory requirements and payment regulations
• Familiarity with expense reporting and garnishment processing
• CPP certification

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Ability to demonstrate above average customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Ability to work as a team player in a high stress environment
• Knowledge of with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
