We are looking for a Software Design Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.

In this role, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining business and computer applications software. This position requires full-stack development experience and the ability to work on both front-end and back-end systems. You will be responsible for supporting and improving Dynamics 365 instances and working on a variety of general software engineering tasks, including APIs, databases, and web applications. Your contributions will directly impact efforts to enhance system security and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and secure features for both existing and new Dynamics 365 instances in a consistent and repeatable manner.
  • Develop and enhance software implementation projects, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet business needs.
  • Review enhancement requests and specifications to assess feasibility and impact.
  • Implement and customize system software to align with business requirements.
  • Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans for deployment.
  • Write, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient code.
  • Modify existing programs to meet new standards and conduct unit testing.
  • Develop and manage migration packages for system testing, user testing, and deployment.
  • Provide quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation to resolve any issues.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems in new and legacy production systems.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of overall experience in software development. 
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in JavaScript or web development using frameworks such as React.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in general software development using either C# or Python.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in back-end development with either T-SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Experience designing and developing large-scale software systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for both new and legacy systems.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in high-security environments or with sensitive data.
  • Experience working with Dynamics 365.
  • Background in working on projects related to cybersecurity, law enforcement, or threat intelligence.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex and ambiguous requirements, driving projects to completion.
  • Prior experience in highly regulated or mission-critical industries.
