Sr. Physical Security Engineer

Position Description: 

The Sr. Physical Security Engineer is responsible for basic to moderate physical security engineering and program development tasks. This position involves creating and supporting policies, processes, standards, procedures, and systems that uphold the Physical Security program. Key responsibilities include overseeing installations, maintenance, investigations, and coordinating with teams such as external vendors and infrastructure teams. The role also covers digital and physical security administration, including CCTV, access control, and burglar alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of security solutions, operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Manage and monitor all installed systems and environments within the plan.
• Oversee the utilization and lifecycle management of Physical Security tools (hardware and software).
• Coordinate hardware support and maintenance with external vendors, infrastructure, and sourcing teams.
• Install IP cameras and NVRs; terminate CAT 5/6 and fiber optic cables.
• Understand and work with electrical circuits and commercial buildings.
• Run and install wiring, read blueprints, mount system panels and devices, and wire circuits for access control, video surveillance, and detection systems.
• Maintain and assist with the administration and development of the Physical Security Program, including field reporting and response procedures.
• Implement processes and playbooks for acquiring, investigating, and resolving physical security events.
• Administer Physical Security programs like Exacqvision, Entrapass, Datasource, etc.
• Manage the Physical Security environment and equipment, handling technical support and maintenance tickets.
• Manage access to environments and audit physical security reports and applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Bachelors.
• 5 years of related experience preferred
