About the role

As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) ProServe Analytics Specialist within the Global Practice Organization (GPO), you are responsible for partnering with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. In this role, you will help our customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost optimized application. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help our customers tap into new markets by utilizing AWS Services. You will also look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers that can help accelerate innovation. Along the way, you will get the opportunity to enhance your own body of knowledge and have some fun.

As a core member of the account team, you will drive revenue growth across specific customers. As a customer advocate, you will help organizations gather and implement advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS. You will also need to be adept at interacting, communicating and partnering with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services, as well as representing your team to executive management.

For this role, we are looking for folks who have technical breadth complimented by technical depth in Cloud Computing, Data Strategy, AI/ML Frameworks, or MLOps, business aptitude, and the ability to lead in-depth technology discussions, articulating the business value of the AWS platform and services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for engaging with Enterprise Architects, Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, VP’s and CXOs.

Key job responsibilities
• Serve as an advisor for Customer CxO's, VP, and executives on data strategy, roadmap
• Regarded as a deep technical expert with domain expertise
• Lead and create strategic programs in partnership with other team members.
• Collaborate and work towards meaningful initiatives that can create strategic impact on the analytics business.
• Operate in cloud based solutions
• Work in CI/CD, integration, testing, and automating
• Develop and maintain expertise on AWS AI/ML Stack, and integration with AWS Analytics Services
• Provide business updates on health of the business in your segments

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of professional or military experience
- 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience
- 5+ years of database (eg. SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) experience
- 7+ years of consulting, design and implementation of serverless distributed solutions experience
- 5+ years of software development with object oriented language experience

Preferred Qualifications

- •Knowledge of AI/ML Technology stack of AWS, awareness of Generative AI trends, patterns, anti-patterns,
- •7+ years of experience designing strategy, and driving motions to implement strategy,
- •5+ Technical pre-sales experience preferred, knowledge of AI/ML Technology stack of AWS and awareness of Generative AI trends, patterns, anti-patterns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
