We are looking for a skilled Senior System Engineer with a strong focus on Azure to join our Platform team.</p> <p>The Platform team is responsible for managing customer runtimes - banks - and in that regard, we hold ourselves accountable to the highest professional standards in cloud ops. Resilience, Availability, and Scalability.</p> <p><strong>Meet the job</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure to ensure our customers have access to the best features Azure has to offer;</li> <li>Guarantee the availability and reliability of the managed hosting service we provide to our customers;</li> <li>Implement and contribute to best practices for cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery;</li> <li>Ensure that the solution always runs in a compliant, secure and cost-effective way;</li> <li>Participate in our on-call pool and help to ensure   maximum reliability, high availability and uptime;</li> <li>Help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement;</li> <li>Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring resilience, availability and scalability;</li> <li>Contribute to increasing operational efficiency and helping to bring overall cloud cost under control.</li> </ul> <h3>How about You</h3> <ul> <li>You have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure security, cloud-native technologies, and desired state configuration, preferably using Terraform or OpenTofu;</li> <li>You are proficient with tools and tech like Helm Charts, Kubernetes, Istio;</li> <li>You have strong communication skills allowing you to drive initiatives and decisions inside and outside your team;</li> <li>You have at least 5 years of experience in system engineering including at least 3 years of working with Azure cloud services;</li> <li>You combine technical excellence with mentorship skills, and provide your peers with hands-on guidance and collaborative problem-solving;</li> <li>You are focused on automation-first. Not content with anything manual, your goal is to make every process predictable and automated;</li> <li>You have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, highly-available cloud infrastructure;</li> <li>Evidence of significant work experience with Azure is a plus;</li> <li>Work experience as software developer is a plus;</li> <li>Networking experience, including VPN configuration, is a plus;</li> <li>Your English communication skills are excellent.</li> </ul>
