Job Description

Analytics at Wolt is a business-critical competence team that covers business intelligence, data science, and data analytics. In total, we are a team of 50+ professionals working from Finland, Sweden, Germany, and Estonia all united by our excitement to put Wolt’s valuable data assets into everyday use.

Now we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join us in the Wolt Market Analytics team in Helsinki, Berlin, or Stockholm.

What is Wolt Market:

Wolt Markets are delivery-only grocery stores making shopping incredibly easy. From these dark stores, our customers get everything from fresh produce to household items delivered to their doorstep in 30 minutes - with only a few clicks.

Launched in Helsinki in 2020, today we have several dozens of stores across Wolt Markets. We have dedicated teams from engineering and design to store operations – all pushing the boundaries to deliver an amazing customer experience.

We are still in the very early stages of our growth – this means a lot of opportunity to build and see a growth journey within online grocery. 

A look into the Data Analytics at Wolt:

Data analysts first and foremost strive to gain actionable insights from all available data that support the decision-making in the teams they work with. In other words, data analysts are expected to be the objective advisors who base their findings and recommendations on data and solid data analysis methods. 

Data analysts at Wolt work as embedded in a team on one particular domain at a time. This means they are working as close as possible where the decisions are made (i.e. in product development teams, marketing, operations etc.) and hence get to participate in decision-making themselves. 

We’re looking for two team members, to work closely with Pricing and Inventory Management teams within the Wolt Market group. While the Pricing team focuses on building solutions for fair and competitive pricing, the Inventory Management team aims to optimize the supply chain processes. You will derive insights using statistical techniques in either of the teams and have a direct contribution to improving the business performance.

As a Senior Data Analyst at Wolt, you’ll get to:
