Lead SAP IT Business Analyst, Finance (Remote/Flexible)

Position Overview:
The Lead SAP IT Business Analyst, Finance, is a critical member of the IT Corporate & Commercial Systems Team and reports to the Senior Manager Global IT Corporate Systems. Working in a dynamic, collaborative team environment, the successful candidate will support communication with key stakeholders to understand business requirements, conduct business process reviews, develop test plans and act as a bridge between SAP functional teams and the business teams. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to comprehend end-to-end finance business processes and understand cross-functional processes that integrate with Finance and Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate and oversee multiple complex projects, including cross-functional projects where a high degree of judgment and independence are required in developing solutions and resolving unusual problem situations.
• Acts independently to determine new methods and procedures to create a positive impact in improving the finance and accounting functions.
• Preserves the integrity of the SAP S4 HANA global template and its continuity across the Insulet organization.
• Provide substantial inputs for process improvement initiatives, contribute to the process improvement business cases presented and provide guidance to the senior management of Insulet.
• Help business process owners to prepare business cases for large enhancements and projects.
• Perform complex business and systems analysis work; conduct requirements gathering/analysis via information gathering sessions with business users and technical staff. Develop supporting process flows and documentation specifications.
• Conduct analysis of existing business processes; recommend process improvements.
• Implement new business process solutions in SAP S/4 HANA related to Finance process improvements.
• Responsible for providing data expertise and consulting related to operational reporting and analytics using, Analytics for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Group reporting.
• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions with business users to improve adoption and efficient use of all systems related to the Finance and Accounting job functions. 
• Assist in the evaluation of third party tools for feasibility and impact to the business.
• Work with Corporate systems team to support design and implementation of integrations between SAP S/4 HANA and external systems.
• Communicate effectively with business users on the status of enhancements and projects.
• Develop comprehensive test plans with users, coordinate test activities and/or help execute test components.
• Perform other duties as required.
