Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Corporate Development, M&A Integration plays a critical role in driving the organization's mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic growth initiatives. This individual will support multiple transactions simultaneously, partnering closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of transaction planning, separation, and integration activities.

Serving as a key member of the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration team, the Senior Manager will support due diligence, integration, and planning separation. This role is responsible for developing and managing value chain analyses, entanglement assessments, stranded cost analyses, one-time cost evaluations, service grids, and transition services agreements (TSAs) for both acquisitions and divestitures.

The ideal candidate combines strong M&A execution experience with strategic thinking, financial acumen, stakeholder management expertise, and the ability to drive results in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

M&A Integration Transaction Execution

  • Support multiple acquisition, divestiture, and strategic transaction initiatives concurrently.

  • Partner with Corporate Development leadership to evaluate, plan, and execute complex M&A transactions.

  • Support critical integration and separation planning activities to ensure smooth transitions and achievement of transaction objectives.

  • Develop and maintain transaction workplans, timelines, milestones, risk logs, and governance structures.

  • Identify and escalate key transaction risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Review transaction documents and assess operational implications.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Operations, and external advisors to develop deal requirements.

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Strategy, Operations, Technology, Human Resources, Procurement, and other business functions.

  • Support executive-level discussions and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations.

Additional Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and implement strategies that improve M&A processes, methodologies, tools, and governance.

  • Develop new organizational resources, templates, and best practices to enhance transaction execution.

  • Assess the operational impact of new products, services, and capabilities on future integrations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the M&A function and improve transaction outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience.

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience supporting projects across multiple stakeholders

  • 5+ years of relevant work

  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a complex organizational environment.

  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree (MBA, Finance, Strategy, or related field).

  • Experience within large, highly matrixed organizations.

  • Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries.

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Agile, or similar) preferred.

  • Experience with integration management office (IMO) methodologies and M&A best practices.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00
