This opportunity involves working as an SAP consultant specializing in Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) within the ECC 6 and logistics functional areas. The role spans the full systems lifecycle—from requirements gathering through implementation and support—focusing on delivering high-quality SAP solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. The position also emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and clients to ensure successful project delivery and system optimization.
Your role
- Provide expert-level functional and configuration support in SAP MM, covering key areas such as Material Master, PR/PO processes, agreements, inventory management, valuation, and batch management.
- Configure and support various procurement processes including direct, indirect, subcontracting, consignment, and asset procurement.
- Lead and participate in blueprinting, requirements gathering, and documentation design sessions.
- Develop functional specifications and collaborate with BASIS and ABAP teams for object development and testing.
- Ensure compliance with data and reporting standards and support master data management and migration activities.
- Implement and support SAP WM solutions, including system configuration, testing, deployment, and user training.
- Apply project management practices to improve engagement productivity, mitigate risks, and optimize cost efficiencies.
- Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and deliver integrated solutions.
- Utilize ITIL practices (Incident, Change, Problem, and Knowledge Management) and tools like ServiceNow.
- Work within the Pharma/Life Sciences domain, applying industry-specific knowledge to SAP implementations and support.
Your skills and experience
- Deep functional expertise in SAP MM and WM modules, including configuration and process design.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and inventory management.
- Experience in writing detailed functional specifications and managing data migration tools.
- Knowledge of SAP module interdependencies and ability to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Familiarity with SAP Inventory Management and Material Master configuration.
- Hands-on experience with ITIL processes and tools like ServiceNow.
- Domain knowledge in Pharma/Life Sciences, enhancing your ability to tailor SAP solutions to industry needs.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality, validated solutions.
- Flexibility to work across Agile development, support, and deployment landscapes.
