YOU WILL VIBE WITH US
As a Senior Legal Advisor you will provide legal support to the in-house legal department of the Company on different corporate, commercial and compliance topics, with a focus on Data Privacy and AI compliance. As a member of the Legal Department, you will work in close cooperation with internal and group teams to ensure that the company’s projects and processes are fully compliant with the applicable regulations, but also internal and group policies. This job is an ideal position for legal professionals with experience in in-house roles or legal firms who wish to further enhance their experience working in a fast paced and multinational environment. More specifically, you will:
» Collaborate in the implementation of group GDPR compliance program and local data privacy and AI projects, which include:
- Management and update of the data privacy compliance tool (update record of processing activities, assist on Data Subject Requests, manage vendor’s and cookies compliance)
- Review and monitoring of different projects, group and local, ensuring the implementation of privacy by design and privacy by default principles
- Provision of assistance in the preparation of data protection documentation (Information notices, consent forms, policies and procedures, etc.) as well as privacy impact assessments, legitimate interest assessments and risk analysis, where necessary
- Advice to local teams on projects to ensure compliance with the applicable regulation
- Monitoring and assistance on GDPR KPIs submission
» Support the in-house legal function within Edenred over fulfilment of regulatory, legal and group requirements
» Review cases and advise on topics related to payment services regulation and the applicable tax regime on employees’ benefits in Greece
» Assist on day-to-day legal topics
» Cooperate with other departments on projects and initiatives of the company to provide a legal assessment or analysis where necessary
WE WILL VIBE WITH YOU
» A Law degree from a recognized university
» Master’s degree in data Privacy will be considered as an asset
» At least 4-6 years, post qualification, experience in a company and/or in a law firm
» Experience in payment or other regulated industry will be considered as an asset
» Strong interpersonal skills
» Ability of working both independently and with others at all levels of the company
» Ability to focus on deadlines, effectively multi-task, assess processes, collaborate with others, and implement improvements.
» Fluent written/spoken English
» Advanced MS Office skills
