The purpose of this job is to work in a cross functional team performing Quality Control testing and all associated laboratory activities related to Biochemistry and Cell Biology water test methods. The successful candidate will sit in the Biochemistry team but main duties will be Chemistry water testing with an opportunity to train in Bioassay and PCR testing.

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to work in a cross functional team performing Quality Control testing and all associated laboratory activities related to Analytical test methods.

• Perform a variety of routine Analytical testing techniques for raw materials and product samples (release and stability) and associated documentation; including but not limited Capillary Electrophoresis, UPLC, HPLC, GC, Wet Chemistry methods in compliance with GMP requirements.
• Review and approve and trend Analytical Testing data.
• Perform as required analytical method technical transfer, verification and validation.
• Support activities including general lab readiness, audit readiness, laboratory equipment qualification and analytical method technical transfer, verification and validation.
• Be part of a motivated and high performing team.

• To revise SOPs as required by the Lead Analyst or client representative.
• To review analytical data for GMP compliance

Qualifications

-         Ability to work independently and meeting established timelines.

-         At least 3 years’ experience preferably in Chemistry or Biochemistry

-         Chemistry water testing experience.

-         Lean Six Sigma experience preferable.

-         Knowledge of cGMPs

-         Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-         Customer focus; takes personal responsibility for speed; quality and accuracy of delivery

-         Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure

-         Successful track record in achieving goals as part of a team within a growing, dynamic environment

-         Demonstrated adaptability and flexibility to support a growing organisation. 

-         Good understanding of requirements for working in a GMP environment.
