Job Description

We are looking for an Audio/Visual Engineer for our offices in Amsterdam  

A day in the life of an Audio/Visual Engineer:

As an Audio/Visual Engineer, you will be part of our fast-growing audiovisual team, reporting directly to the Strategy & Audiovisual Hub Lead.

Your main duties will be to:

• Ensure that AV hardware and software is prepared to meet the needs of the organization.
• Offer plans and advice for live audio and video events, including broadcasts, conferences, and so on.
• Operate the master controls of AV systems during events.
• Provide maintenance, troubleshooting and problem-solving of hardware and software
• Support in storing, transporting, assembling and disassembling AV equipment.
• Ensure the production and updating of AV documentation such as user guides.
• Cabling and wiring to implement technologies into AV setups.

Qualifications

If you have:

• Relevant University degree or diploma or a strong portfolio of experience working as a multimedia specialist with the subjects of filmmaking and digital photography or multimedia/interactive technology/design/animation or graphic and media design
• Relevant professional qualifications such as Certificate as
  • AudioVisual (AV) professional Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®),
  • Crestron Master Certified Programmer (MCP)
  • Crestron Master Technology Architect (MTA)
  • Video conferencing platforms
  • WebEx
  • MS Teams
• Knowledge of infrastructure Networks

• Up-to-date awareness of AV technologies and their features
• Basic project management skills and deadline fulfillment focus
• Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent command of the English language
• A creative approach to new demands
• Ability to manage and prioritize workload with competing deadlines under pressure
• Analytical thinking with problem-solving abilities, combining different resources
