Job Summary
Responsible for assisting the Inventory Manager in inventory duties & activities. Job holder to promote and adhere to the company values of quality and compliance with current legislation.
Job holder to promote positive support and acknowledgment with business messages, and statements in relation to the Company or any individual is continually required.
Essential Job Functions
· To perform stock checks, ensuring accurate stock levels and correct stock management adhered too.
· Coordinate the receipt of new shipments, including unloading, counting, and verifying against purchase orders
· Quality Control checks of incoming goods including delivery evaluations
· To ensure correct labelling of products and goods
· Ensure all stock is properly organized on shelves and racks and in the correct locations
· Ensuring all inventory logs are maintained
· Assist in making arrangements with supply chain to get any damaged or non-conforming stock returned to suppliers in a timely manner
· Perform regular physical counts of inventory to ensure accuracy against system records
· Assist the inventory manager with stock take
· Loading and unloading of vehicles
· To ensure that administration tasks are complete efficiently and effectively; including monitoring proof of delivery, logging of various daily tasks, GDPR document disposal & assisting the warehouse staff, purchasing department and supply chain management as required
· Assist with company logistics
· Warehouse maintenance
· Any other duties as requested by senior management
Qualifications
· Forklift Qualification preferred
· Full, UK Driving License required
Competencies
· Experience of warehousing preferred
· Computer literate & experienced in Microsoft Office applications
· Experience of Sage 200 software preferred
· Experience of narrow isle Forklift preferred
