About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
  • Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
  • Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination.
  • Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures.
  • Makes required log entries of fuel transactions, QC, and maintenance
    Comply with the station’s attendance/tardiness standards.
  • ATA 103 daily, weekly, monthly quality annual inspections documented daily, NFPA 407, IATA QC requirements
  • Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment
  • Maintain records relating to maintenance
  • Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles
  • Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care to equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures
  • Determines the need and extent of repair work required based on operators reports and testing equipment
  • Coordinates functions and schedule related to production, and PMI completion
  • Communicates with the operation concerning equipment operation
  • Maintains, orders and schedules tire replacement
  • Reviews completed work orders
  • Inspects and approves work of mechanics
  • Assists in instructing mechanics on work procedures
  • Directs daily workflow
  • Completes required documentation and performs data entry
  • Able to perform all duties performed by GSE mechanics:
  • Advanced, and general troubleshooting
  • Use and interpret diagnostic equipment
  • Preforms preventive maintenance and/or repairs
  • Ensure that all vehicles can pass the appropriate safety inspections
  • Cleans shop and work area
  • Performs maintenance calls on in service equipment
  • Repairs and/or replaces parts on equipment during PMI
  • Completes required documentation
  • Assists in the training of mechanics
  • Welding and fabrication
  • Basic and general troubleshooting
  • Preform preventive maintenance and/or repairs
  • Ensure that all vehicles can pass the appropriate safety inspections
  • Cleans shop and work area
  • Repairs and/or replaces parts on equipment during PMI
  • Completes required documentation
  • Preform basic Preventive maintenance and/or repairs

Qualifications 

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license
  • Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test
  • Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
  • Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require you to lift and move up to 70lbs
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations
  • Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
  • Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
