About the role

The Analytics Solution Architect plays a vital role by designing, developing and implementing high-performance, scalable, and secure data analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) that address the specific needs of product teams. The position requires maintaining an end-to-end understanding of the organization's current architecture, solutions, coding languages, and tools. Candidate may partner directly with product managers, directors and/or engineering teams to establish an architectural plan across multiple solution areas, in consideration of the program roadmap and product roadmaps. Present and defend architectural, design, and technical choices to internal and external audiences.  Strengthens and sustains partnerships with key Information technology and practice stakeholders.  Promote the reuse and extensibility of existing architecture and serves as a mentor to team members and stakeholders. The position may require evaluation of new technology capabilities in areas that seek to improve overall data experience especially in the areas of analytics to improve data scalability and performance.  The position will actively participate in proof-of-concept (POC) development to validate solution feasibility and ensure high-quality implementations are delivered on time and within budget.

In addition to solution design, this role will play a key role in establishing and maintaining data analytics standards across the organization. This may involve developing coding conventions, data governance policies, and security protocols to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

The preferred candidate will possess a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, information technology, health science, or other analytical/quantitative field and a minimum of 3+ years of professional or research experience as a senior developer or architect.

A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, mathematics, computer science, information technology, health science, or other analytical/quantitative field and a minimum of 5+ years of professional or research experience as a senior developer or architect. 

In-depth business or practice knowledge will also be considered.

  • Candidates should possess in-depth knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially analytics offerings such as BigQuery
  • Experience with designing, implementing, and optimizing end to end analytics solutions utilizing Google Cloud technologies
  • Proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in existing solutions
  • Curious and stays up to date with the latest GCP features and services to recommend the most suitable options
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Strong experience with Python or similar scripting languages
  • Demonstrated Strong leadership and influencing skills in previous roles
  • Experience with complex healthcare IT integrations, web applications, and SaaS configuration
  • Ability to work and collaborate across teams without management direction
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work proactively with internal teammates and external clients
  • Excellent communication (oral/written/presentation) skills
