Accounts Receivable Manager

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the accounts receivable function, including invoicing, payment processing, and customer account management; maintains accurate financial records, and supports cash flow management for the organization; supervises accounts receivable staff, and works closely with accounting, project management, and operations teams to resolve billing issues and maintain strong customer relationships.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including billing, and payment posting.
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing for services, projects, and recurring accounts.
Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment schedules, and account discrepancies.
Supervise and train accounts receivable staff and provide performance guidance.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
Prepare reports on receivable status and collaborate with accounting and finance teams to support month-end and year-end closing processes.


 

Education and/or Experience 

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or accounting, with supervisory experience preferred.

Computer Skills 

Microsoft Office Apps, Proficiency in Excel, proficiency in accounting software, D365 preferred.

Physical Demands 

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; regularly required to sit and use hands, talk or hear, stand; walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
