This Lead Platform Engineer role is part of our Sales, Service, and Commerce System team that is responsible for everything commerce related at Lucid Motors including: vehicle reservation, configuration and ordering, customer payments, the order management and delivery process, and developing features and commerce opportunities for vehicle owners. We also own the systems used by our internal teams for Sales, Delivery, Service Operations and Customer Care. 

Responsibilities:

• Developing Microservices in GraphQL, Restful. NodeJs
• Strong system designing experience
• Third-party integrations with SalesForce and/or SAP
• Design and building sharable micro-services supporting across the platforms
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in various server-side technologies.
• Build scalable and robust services

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS in computer science/engineering or equivalent technical degree
• 8+ years of professional back-end software development experience
• 5+ years of experience with Java, Mongo, MySQL
• 3+ years of experience in Kubernates
• 3+ years of experience using source control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS and its offerings such as Lambda, S3, ECS, and EKS is a plus
• Experience integrating with Salesforce and/or SAP ERP is a bonus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• International software development is a plus Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD, automated test and build tools
• Passionate about providing the best user experience for customers

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.·       California (Bay Area) - $138,000 - $198,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
