In addition, this role will require day-to-day management of general accounting, providing substantive guidance to the Team Members, performance of SOx controls, coordination and interaction with EMEA Local Teams, supporting recruitment and retention of employees and leading process improvement activities. Person on that position requires strong technical accounting expertise, proven leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</p><p></p><p>Your Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><b>Leadership</b><ul><li>Supervises, mentors, and develops a team of +10 employees (e.g., Analysts, Senior Analysts, Consultants), conducting performance reviews, providing constructive feedback, and supporting career development plans.</li><li>Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring their skills are effectively utilized and that they meet performance.</li><li>Manage team hiring, development, and transitions while fostering collaboration across the business.</li><li>Fostering a collaborative and positive team culture that promotes accountability, open communication, and continuous.</li></ul></li><li><b>Process Expertise and Business Partnership</b><ul><li>Provide thorough ownership for all aspects of the Financial Statements (US GAAP) through robust governance and accountability for journal voucher reviews, trial balance reviews and account reconciliation reviews.</li><li>Oversees all accounting activities performed by the RTR Team for their assigned region or area, ensuring consistent, accurate, and efficient delivery of US GAAP Financial Statements.</li><li>Drive the month-end/year-end closing procedures for EMEA region.</li><li>Ensure process and policies are being followed by performing routine reviews and assigned SOx controls.</li><li>Acts as the primary point of escalation for complex RTR issues, ensuring timely resolution, correct handling, and efficient guidance.</li><li>Act as subject matter expert on complex accounting treatments in accordance with policy/procedures.</li><li>Drive for results and ensure best practices are in place to achieve highest standards within daily operations.</li><li>Influence and coordinate the integration of local, regional and corporate initiatives within EMEA team.</li><li>Ensures continuous and consistent service delivery for RTR activities, including the development and implementation of efficient back-up plans.</li><li>Manages workload distribution and resource allocation within the team to ensure adequate staffing and optimal performance for all RTR activities.</li></ul></li><li><b>Process Governance:</b><ul><li>Ensure adequate process documentation and training materials are developed and maintained, and provide user education and training.</li><li>Demonstrates a strong continuous improvement oriented mindset.
