The Chief of Staff is a highly visible strategic partner that supports the CEO with effective execution of strategic initiatives, administrative support, and provides operational guidance to the Executive Leadership Team. The Chief of Staff will develop and execute plans to support the organization’s goals and objectives and requires a strong understanding of business dynamics, as well as a forward-thinking approach. A successful candidate will have exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
What you’ll be doing:
- Build, lead, and execute on the daily operations of the CEO’s office including calendar management, budgeting, reporting, planning, and travel arrangements.
- Lead strategic initiatives and projects in alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and manage processes to ensure smooth operations for the leadership team.
- Act as the point of contact for the CEO’s direct reports. Triage all incoming requests for the executive’s time to ensure the calendar is aligned with the priorities of the organization.
- Proactively follow up with the Executive Leadership team on strategic priorities and deadlines. Manage key relationships and communication between senior leadership and other departments.
- Prepare briefings for important meetings and events.
- Manage special projects as needed.
- Serve as a thought partner and strategic advisor to CEO, standing in on meetings and following up on action items with the team accordingly.
We’re looking for:
- Experience with MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Adobe.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-level confidential information.
- Ability to interface with all levels of executive leadership and manage schedules, commitments, and other administrative duties.
- Experience with managing projects and leading strategic initiatives.
- Ability to work outside of typical business hours.
- Ability to remain flexible with changing business demands
Requirements
- Five or more years of experience in a business management role.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or a similar field.
- Experience in the technology industry is a plus.
