We have a great opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team in our Farmington Hills, MI location.

 

The position summary:

The Mechanical Project Engineer develops the initial engineering/design plan with the project team. The Mechanical Project Engineer manages the project’s engineering from the proposal turnover through installation in the field. They also utilize their career experience and knowledge in a senior role within the engineering department.

Main Tasks:

Fulfilling customer specification for projects by delivering mechanical engineering withing project scope, budget and timing.

Leading the ME team on various projects simultaneously.

Effective communication with customers.

Identifying and mitigating project engineering risks.

 

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (BSME) from a four-year college or university

5+ years' experience in Automotive Industry

5+ years' experience with Powertrain / Assembly

3 - 5 years expeience in an engineering leadership role
