About the Team & Role

We are building a high-performing product organization focused on delivering institutional-grade trading capabilities across global markets. As part of this effort, we are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Derivatives, to lead the strategy and execution of our derivatives product line, including options, futures, and structured products.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of derivatives products—from product conception and rule design to launch, scaling, and continuous optimization. You will work closely with quantitative research, risk management, compliance, legal, and engineering teams to ensure products are competitive, compliant, and robust under real-world market conditions. You will also play a key role in building liquidity, managing risk exposure, and integrating derivatives capabilities into the firm’s global trading platform.

This position offers a unique opportunity to shape a core derivatives platform at scale and drive meaningful business growth in collaboration with global teams.

Requirements

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the full product lifecycle for derivatives products, including options, futures, and structured products, from planning and design to development and launch.
  • Design derivatives product features and trading rules, including pricing models, risk control frameworks, and clearing and settlement mechanisms.
  • Partner closely with quantitative research, risk management, compliance, legal, and engineering teams to ensure products meet regulatory requirements and market standards.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of market demand and competitive landscapes to define differentiated product strategies and drive continuous innovation.
  • Build and manage derivatives liquidity, working with market makers and liquidity providers to improve quote depth and overall trading experience.
  • Monitor trading performance, risk exposure, and key product metrics, establishing robust monitoring frameworks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate closely with headquarters and global business teams to integrate derivatives capabilities into the firm’s broader trading platform.
  • Support business growth by enabling scalable, reliable, and well-governed derivatives offerings across regions.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in derivatives product management, preferably with a background at an exchange, broker-dealer, quantitative fund, or fintech company.
  • Strong expertise in derivatives pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, binomial trees, Monte Carlo simulations) and risk management principles, with hands-on product design experience.
  • Solid understanding of derivatives market infrastructure, including clearing, settlement, and collateral management, as well as relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience working with market makers, liquidity providers, and clearing institutions, with a strong understanding of liquidity optimization strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive products from 0 to 1, and from launch to scaled operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage market data and user feedback to inform product decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with technical, business, and international teams.
  • Master’s degree or above in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field is strongly preferred.
