Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop, optimize, and govern global Commerce revenue and receivables accounting processes with the appropriate people, policies, and controls that will drive business growth efficiently over the coming years while maintaining compliance with accounting regulations
- Lead month, quarter, and year-end close & reporting processes for revenue and receivables to publish timely financial reporting and analysis for management and key stakeholders
- Support the accounting team in researching and analyzing new accounting guidance and applying guidance to topics in a fast-growing environment
- Partner with the FHI Shared Services team to establish key metrics, optimize processes and ways of working, and establish the appropriate governance over accounting work performed on behalf of Commerce.
- Help manage working capital by driving improvements in the areas of credit & collections and customer terms in partnership with the Shared Services team as appropriate
- Support the implementation of new finance and accounting technology systems

Educational / professional qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive financial accounting experience with a retail, manufacturing or consumer products company
- Minimum of 10 years of accounting leadership experience in a company with annual revenues of at least $1 billion
- Strategic business partner to executive leadership and department heads across the company
- Experience working at or closely with a “Big 4” audit firm
- CPA preferred
- Proficient knowledge of GAAP and IFRS
