The Department of Accounting, Finance, & MIS is seeking applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach five undergraduate courses per semester in the accounting area, serve on department/college committees and maintain/further professional development.

The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Teach five classes each semester in the accounting area as assigned by the department head
  • Participate in the operation of the department/college (serve on committees/ taskforce, student organizations, etc.).
  • Engage in research or other intellectual activities, professional certifications, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department/college

Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Accounting from a regionally accredited institution.
  • No experience required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to teach effectively at the college level.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • CPA/CMA/CIA certification.
  • Three years of teaching experience at the college level; ability to teach introductory and intermediate level accounting as well as auditing courses.
