Commercial Associate

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. 

We are looking for a Commercial Associate. In summary, the role will be to support Figure’s commercial (i.e. customer deployment) and capital raising efforts.

Responsibilities: 

• Supports commercial team on  project prioritization and various other tasks as needed at the discretion of the Customer Commercial Managers
• Research and execute commercial projects - i.e. anything related to successful deployment of humanoids in customer sites under the guidance of the Customer Commercial Managers 
• Negotiate terms with suppliers, maintain timeline for project deployment, etc.
• Conduct market research related to use cases, competitive positioning, etc. related to customer deployment as well as any potential Figure capital raises
• Must act as liaison between commercial team, engineering team, and third parties

Requirements: 

• 2-4 years in investment banking or startup project management 
• Great communicator 
• Excellent judgment and execution in high pressure situations
• Highly organized and ability to work autonomously
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to take action and execute on a condensed timeline 
• Low ego, team player with can-do attitude 

Bonus Qualifications: 

• Experience with procurement, contract negotiation, or similar responsibilities
