CFO (Chief Financial Officer)

O’Hagan Meyer, a fast-growing national law firm with 340+ attorneys across 26 offices, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our leadership team. As we continue to expand our footprint and elevate our client service, we’re looking for a financial executive who understands the nuances of law firm operations and can drive strategic, data-driven decisions across the enterprise. This position would be based out of our Chicago, IL office. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial health, developing long-term financial strategies, and managing all aspects of the firm's accounting, budgeting, reporting, and financial planning functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Partners, the CFO will serve as a strategic advisor and business partner, working closely with firm leadership, practice group leaders, and office administrators.

Requirements

• 10+ years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
• CPA or MBA preferred
• Strong knowledge of law firm billing systems (e.g., Aderant, Elite, or similar)
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Strategic mindset with a detail-oriented and hands-on approach
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism
