Administrative Officer
About the Position: The individual selected for this position will perform administrative, professional, and highly technical duties in support of the Community Based Services Division (CBS) at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS). The Administrative Officer will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining schedules, appointments, and meetings, while ensuring that all verbal and written communications are conducted with professionalism and discretion. Responsibilities include managing comprehensive filing systems—both digital and physical—assisting in the preparation and distribution of routine reports and overseeing the procurement of office supplies and services to enhance operational efficiency. The Administrative Officer will also provide logistical and clerical support for both internal and external trainings and meetings, including the preparation and mailing of training materials. Additionally, the role includes assisting internal personnel and performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the smooth and professional operation of the division.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of technical clerical, secretarial, or general office work
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements:
Applicants must be willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license
