Spare Parts Specialist - Concrete Division

The Spare Parts specialist is responsible for the supervision, maintenance, and administration of spare parts sales for Liebherr Concrete Pumps, Mixers, Batch Plants, Recyclers and associated equipment and to assist Liebherr Concrete Technology Co. (LMT) Sales and After Sales personnel as needed. The spare parts specialist is a primary interface for our customers and a technical resource as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist Customers and LMT staff with identifying and purchasing replacement parts for Liebherr Mixers, Batch Plants, Concrete Recycling, and associated equipment.
- Primary driver of growth and customer satisfaction for LMT Spare part business.
- Prepare spare parts quotations for customers and dealers.
- Assist LMT managers with identifying critical equipment components and maintaining minimum quantities of Safety Stock items in LMT’s warehouse.
- Establish and maintain friendly, professional communications with LMT’s new and existing customers.
- Establish and maintain a friendly, professional working relationship with LMT’s employees, suppliers, and sister companies.
- Assist Accounting Department to resolve customer billing and invoicing issues if required.
- Supports Order Entry and Tracking.
- Participate and assist with periodic inventory stock counts.
- Provide limited after hours support to LMT customers as needed.
Competencies
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with 2 to 5 years related experience or knowledge in a parts or sales related environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook; Database software; Internet software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
- Should possess good mechanical skills and have experience reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings and technical publications.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, and percentages.
- Should be familiar with heavy equipment used in the concrete mixing industry.
- Should be able to perform light warehouse duties to include, but not limited to packing and handling parts and equipment, and should be experienced in the safe operation of fork-lifts and overhead cranes.
- Travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license and passport.
