Job Description:

   

The HR Business Partner is a seasoned HR professional with local, regional, or global scope and deep business acumen. Provides strategic insights and advice to regional/country leaders, and/or business segment leaders. Drives HR programs and talent initiatives on a local level while ensuring alignment with global objectives and workforce compliance. 

Collaborates with business leaders to translate and align business imperatives to talent strategies and plans. Serves as an advocate and champion for HR programs as well as organizational values and culture. Partners with COEs and HR Business Leaders and represents regional business insights, regulations, and cultural needs on the design, development and implementation of HR programs, tools, and processes.

Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities:

  • Assumes a proactive role in strategic initiatives aimed at creating a significant impact on collaborative trust, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness within the organization.
  • Assesses and identifies current workforce skills and capabilities against future state needs.
  • Leads gap analysis incorporating anticipated changes in the internal and external labor force.
  • Understands HPE’s philosophy, values, and strategy to develop initiatives driving a high-performance workforce and coaching culture.
  • Engages the HR services integration in close collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and HR Services to refine and optimize HR service delivery, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Holds a leadership position in overseeing business fluency and managing large-scale initiatives focused on organizational effectiveness and change management, driving resilience and adaptability.
  • Contributes essential insights to HR leadership to inform comprehensive workforce planning and budgeting strategies, facilitating optimal resource allocation.
  • Provides executive coaching and mentorship to senior executives, offering advanced guidance on talent management and strategic risk mitigation approaches based on data interpretation, analysis, and insight storytelling.

Education and Experience:

  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Typically, 10+ years of HR experience, with significant consulting exposure.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing complex HR projects.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Exceptional strategic and design thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence at senior levels with industry and market mindset.
  • Global HR expertise and understanding of local/regional regulations.
  • Deep knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations across multiple regions.
