This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.

 

• Remote/ 8% travel 
• M-F 8-5 pm
• Contract to hire
•  $100-$110 hourly

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Are you a Cloud Architect with a passion for sustainable total cost of ownership (TCO) and best practices? Do you have experience with Azure Services and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF)? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Cloud Architect!
• Lead architectural reviews as part of the client Cloud Business Office (CBO)
• Approve technical designs with a heavy emphasis on sustainable TCO
• Advise client's business units on aligning to best practices
• Assist with strategy and roadmap planning for the CBO
• Develop enterprise workflows
• Deliver in a Cloud Center of Excellence or Enterprise Architecture team

 

What you’ll need to succeed:

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7 years of experience in cloud architecture
• Experience with Azure Services such as AKS, OpenShift, App Services, App Service Environments, Databricks, SQL, and Storage
• Experience with Azure CAF in areas such as FinOps, Governance, and Security
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
