Software QA Engineer

Intapp is looking for an enthusiastic individual for the position of Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). This is a technical leadership position, and this person will make a real impact on the business by helping grow our test automation team and processes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high quality software and engineering principles with strong analytic, problem solving and programming skills. Joining Intapp in Lisbon provides a unique opportunity to help shape the new flagship development center and contribute to high-impact projects in a thriving tech environment.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will do:</b></p><p>- Collaborate across functions with product managers, software architects, developers, and manual testers, contributing to release planning and software design.</p><p>- Have technical responsibility for the automation testing strategy and the creation, design, and development of test automation frameworks.</p><p>- Create test strategies, formulating and automating test case scenarios.</p><p>- Teach, coach, mentor others in automated testing best practices.</p><p>- Create and develop tooling to assist manual and automated testing.</p><p>- Build and run tests as part of continuous <span><span>integration/continuous</span></span> delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.</p><p>- Create test automation dashboards, reporting on metrics to drive release quality and continuous improvements.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will need:</b></p><p>- Proven experience in test automation, test tooling, and infrastructure for test automation (typically 8+ years).</p><p>- Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in at least one common programming language (C#, Java or .NET) and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.</p><p>- Expert knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.</p><p>- Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies, including their application in building and testing robust, high-quality software.</p><p>- Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).</p><p>- Organizational and time management skills to work across projects, proactively managing competing priorities.</p><p>- Excellent communication skills to work in a collaborative environment and participate in stakeholder meetings.</p><p>- Familiarity with load, stress, or performance testing tools and methodologies is a plus.</p><p>- An understanding of Microsoft Azure &amp; Amazon Web Services is a plus.</p><p>- An ISTQB/ISEB certification is a plus.</p><p>- Fluency in English.</p><p></p><p><b>What we offer at Intapp:</b></p><p>Our culture at Intapp emphasizes accountability, responsibility, and growth.
