We are looking for a “Software Engineer - Sensor Simulation (f/m/d)” for the “Simulation Solutions” division at the Immenstaad site as soon as possible.

In the Simulation Solutions division, we develop state-of-the-art simulation systems for the military market - from the initial idea to the finished application. Our Simsphere® Simulation Suite realistically maps complex sensor and effector landscapes and makes it possible to test and analyze entire scenarios under real performance conditions.

We are continuously expanding our existing solutions to meet the increasing requirements of networked and highly dynamic systems in the future - with state-of-the-art technology and plenty of room for innovative software development.

Your Tasks

• Mapping and modeling of complex sensor technology for simulation applications

• Design and development of software components using familiar software design patterns 

• Support in carrying out design and code reviews

• Implementation and execution of unit and integration tests

• Development according to software development plan and standards

• Support in the development and implementation of concepts for automated testing and deployment

Your Profile

• Dipl.-Ing. / Master's degree in physics, mathematics, computer science or comparable degree

• Sound knowledge of software development with the programming languages Modern C / C++ and Java

• Experience with container virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Ideally already experience in simulation and corresponding standards such as DIS and HLA

• Broad, sound, applicable technical knowledge in the field of software engineering and the use of modern processes, methods and tools

• Strong teamwork skills and high social competence
