THE OPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Staff Data Analytics to our Global Analytics team in the US! 

As a member of the ever-growing Global Analytics team at Gympass, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining a data-focused culture and helping drive unique strategic initiatives. In this highly malleable role, you will be responsible for the development and ongoing data operation of Gympass’ growth strategy, products, technologies, tools, and technical solutions. This includes (but is not limited to) defining and enforcing efficient operational processes, generating and governing of business focused dashboards, educating business stakeholders on dashboards and datasets, and working with multiple global teams within the business to analyze and provide solutions as a strategic partner.

YOUR IMPACT

• Develop recommendations and drive improvements to data standards, processes, definitions
• Partner with team leaders globally by providing analytical insights through accessible business oriented data sets and visual data dashboards
• Be an active participant in discussion with various global teams and have a voice in the direction of the business
• Identify insights that will impact the broader business by leveraging relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple functional areas
• Consult with managers and team leaders; work with them to turn vague or poorly defined issues into clearly addressable problems/questions that is measurable

WHO YOU ARE

• 3-6+ years of relevant work experience in analyzing and synthesizing insights into actionable business recommendations
• Experience with managing stakeholders and ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
• Experience using data visualization tools (specifically Tableau but PowerBI, Metabase, etc. also a plus)
• Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative and experimental in the approach to problem solving, with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent SQL skills required
• Must be comfortable with unstructured, fast-moving and constantly evolving high-growth environments
• A driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can maintain confidentiality and complex issues
• Passion for excellence and continuous improvement
• Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Ownership is key

Our tech hubs are located in New York, São Paulo, and Lisbon. This person has the option of working remotely. US-based employees must reside in either New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Utah, California, Washington, or Florida.

In New York, California, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Washington, the annual base salary range for this role is USD $123.648 - $154.560. The base salary range for other locations may vary. Actual base salary will be dependent on geographic location, relevant experience, skills, qualifications and/or other job-related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is also be eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan and our performance-based stock option program.
