Key Accountabilities:
Provide on-shift production management to Charleston Plant work teams and monitor critical parameters to ensure teams are adhering to plan and meeting safety, environmental, and production goals during non-normal business hours.
On shift incident command coverage during non-normal business hours.
Communication and clarification of operational priorities to shift teams.
Assist shift teams with evaluating resource requirements.
Assist shift teams with problem assessment, process troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Elevation of emergent operational issues to on-call operations supervision once initial problem assessment and troubleshooting has been conducted.
Coordination/prioritization of shift maintenance activities.
Documentation of shift activities to report on progress, issues, and follow-up and still needed using the shift notes.
Incident investigation leadership as needed which includes initiating safety and environmental incident investigation in Dakota to include supporting documentation.
Provide performance feedback to shift/team and individuals and to department supervision.
Call out for additional resources as needed.
Daily production meeting attendance when able.
Special project assistance as assigned.
On day shifts, assist as assigned or needed with permit sign-offs, regulatory and MOC training follow-up, checklist and QMS audits, and other training-related support activities.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Plant or manufacturing experience
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Strong knowledge of the plant areas and plant safe work practices
Desire to drive improvement in personnel, processes, and culture
