About the role
Location: Germany, Denmark or Netherlands
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our CE (Central Europe) Production operations. You will also be a member of the global finance leadership team, sharing best practise across our core markets.
Your responsibility
- Leading a team of highly experienced finance business partners and business controllers based across all of our CE manufacturing sites, you will oversee the financial operations of CE Production , including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will ensure that all financial activities are aligned with our strategic goals and objectives, enabling us to achieve sustainable growth and profitability. Using your foresight, you will anticipate future financial challenges and opportunities, allowing us to make proactive decisions and stay ahead in a competitive market.
- Analysing financial data to provide strategic insights for informed decision-making. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and risk mitigation, enabling us to make data-driven business decisions with a forward-thinking approach and End 2 End Supply Chain mindset.
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. By continuously evaluating and improving our financial processes, you will enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will ensure the timely delivery of financial information to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making at all levels of CE Production . Your ability to analyze trends and patterns in financial data will help us identify emerging opportunities and adapt our strategies accordingly.
- Mentoring and empowering a team of finance professionals. By providing guidance and support, you will foster their growth and development, ensuring a high-performing and engaged finance team that embraces foresight and incorporates it into their day-to-day work.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across CE Production & wider Global Supply Chain to drive financial performance and achieve ambitious business goals. Acting as a trusted business partner, you will leverage your financial expertise to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic initiatives and drive operational excellence. Your ability to anticipate financial challenges and propose innovative solutions will be key in navigating the evolving business landscape.
- Building strong relationships and actively participating in cross-functional teams within CE including commercial, marketing & other finance functions. You will proactively engage with leaders from various departments to understand their needs, provide financial guidance, and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Through your foresight, you will help shape our strategic direction and ensure financial sustainability.
- Staying ahead of industry trends and changes in accounting regulations. Your deep knowledge of financial principles and best practices will enable you to proactively adapt our financial strategies and processes, ensuring UK Production remains competitive and compliant in the ever-evolving business landscape. Your ability to anticipate regulatory changes and industry shifts will help us seize new opportunities and mitigate potential risks
Your profile
- Master’s degree or a recognized business qualification with finance and/or accounting focus
- 5+ years post-qualification experience ideally within manufacturing or logistics finance. Food sector experience is also beneficial.
- Mature Leader - you will be responsible for a team of 10 finance professionals
- Experience working with senior stakeholders
- Good IT skills, SAP experience would be preferred
- Confident with data and insights-driven decision-making
- Flexibility to travel to our sites (DK, DE, NL), and head office locations in Viby, Aarhus & Dusseldorf
