This individual is responsible for leading the development, implementation and execution of strategy to reduce engine overhaul cost. You will work closely with the Logistic Integrated Product Team (LIPT) to identify, collect and analyze cost reduction initiatives. Cost management is a key component in maximizing the F119 sustainment program sales plan. The F119 sustainment contract is a performance based contract with the United States Air Force (USAF) that covers material, maintenance, tooling, tech data and engineering/technical support of the F119 engines that power the F-22 Raptor.
What Will You Do
Collect and disseminate actual cost data of overhauls – incorporating results into required program deliverables
Lead analysis and identify cost reduction of multi-interval overhaul costs
Develop and maintain standard work for cost management and analysis, including processes, measurements and targets for assessing cost reduction effectiveness
Manage MRO CLINs performance and ensure budgets, schedule and contract work scope are accomplished
Support monthly financial meetings and Estimate-At-Completion (EAC) reviews
Monitor for variances to cost trends and identify action plans to mitigate
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree
10 years of project management experience or 7 years with an advance degree with project management experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
Strong communication skills
Experience with contract proposals and negotiations
Familiar with earned value management
Able to work with other organizations such as; finance, aftermarket, contracts, pricing, and the USAF

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
