What You Will Do:

The Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization is seeking a qualified senior engineer (P3) for a Systems Analysis position to be part of the performance and operability team focused on the F119 program.

  • Support field questions and safety investigations
  • Perform field trending for engine specific health monitoring and fleet deterioration trends
  • Provide engine test planning, support, and analysis
  • Perform engine modernization studies assessing system level trades in support of the F-22 Raptor Viability modernization efforts
  • Provide systems analysis support as needed to Advanced Military Programs
  • Provide systems analysis support as needed to other Operational Military Programs
  • Update PSA models as required (including NPSS/performance model, stability audits, etc) and provide customer updates
  • Support design and development of control schedule changes, and integrate with CDS on software development
  • Prepare and present results to EDSIT and SIPT.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) and minimum 5+ years’ of experience or an advanced degree and 3+ years' of experience
  • Off shift support required when at test
  • U.S. Citizenship due to government contracts.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • 10% Travel

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Active security clearance
  • Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
  • Demonstrated strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
  • Development engine test experience
  • Familiarity with development engine instrumentation
  • A track record of delivering results in a cross-functional team environment.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of management is critical.
  • Performance and/or operability experience.
  • Experience with Unigraph, NPSS, Matlab, Python, and iSight.
  • Knowledge of control logic and control schedules generation.
  • Experience in managing internal and external customers.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
