This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule: Mon-Thurs, 9:00am 6:00pm, Flexible during client Business hours, 20 hours per week Client Timezone: Brisbane, AEST

Looking to hire a senior WordPress developer to help with website maintenance, plugin updates, and optimization across our 4 existing websites and 2 new websites. The developer should have some basic SEO knowledge to help improve website performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain websites using Webflow and WordPress.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to translate design concepts into functional websites.
Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for performance, and provide an exceptional user experience across all devices.
Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs.
Utilize Webflow’s capabilities to create dynamic and interactive web pages, including Webflow CMS and Localization.
Perform regular website updates, migrations, and troubleshooting to ensure site security and functionality.
Optimize websites for SEO and accessibility best practices.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members in English
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

Proficiency in Webflow and WordPress is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
Experience with customizing and developing WordPress themes and plugins.
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
SEO Basic skills
Ability to work with graphic design tools such as Figma.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
A portfolio of previous web development projects showcasing your skills.
