Director, Accounting

About the opportunity:

We are looking for the Director, Accounting to join our Finance team to support the next phase of our growth. You'll work alongside colleagues who have helped shape the success of companies such as Google, Okta, AWS, VMware, and more. This is a vital role within the Sales Organization to drive efficiency and scale.

You will:

• Fully own the accounting function including all operational, project accounting, financial reporting, and tax responsibilities at both the operating and technical levels.
• Manage the full cycle General Ledger close process for month-end, quarter-end and year-end, to ensure accounts are properly reconciled, reviewed, and reported in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements.
• Lead the preparation of quarterly financial statements and financial reporting packages.
• Manage all accruals & accounting estimation processes by working closing across the team and organization.
• Lead special accounting projects as needed.

You have:

• Education:
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required
• Experience: 
  
  • 7+ years of experience across public accounting and high-growth startup
  • CPA or equivalent
  • High level of attention to detail, aptitude for planning/managing deadlines
  • Experience implementing Systems (ERP, Payroll, PR/PO, T&E)
• Skills:
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS and/or security industry

For this position, the reasonably expected pay range can be discussed with your recruiter for the level at which this job has been scoped. Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills. In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply. This position is also eligible for equity and a competitive benefits package.
