Constellation1, a Constellation Software Inc. company, is looking for a Business Analyst to join our team. We are an industry leader in the integrated online real estate technology business and are partnered with some of the largest names in real estate.

Description:

This is a highly visible role that will keep you challenged and learning while utilizing the full range of your skills. This role requires strong client-facing and project management skills, as you will be managing a portfolio of client-requested projects while working with the product team to determine whether to proceed with development. When projects move forward you will own the project from start to finish; as such, the ideal candidate will be a driven, self-sufficient individual with sound project management skills, a strong ability to deduce actionable requirements from users, and the passion to work with clients directly on a program of projects.

In this role you will work closely with Product Owners, Account Managers, Developers, Quality Assurance, and clients to execute on software development. Our product portfolio consists of industry leading: Property Search, Marketing, and Lead Generation solutions (Website, CRM, Marketing, Social, Testimonial, Relocation, SEO/SEM, Mobile iOS/Android).

Responsibilities:

• Scoping and Definition: Work with customer-facing teams to identify customer pain points and needs, translating their aspirations into projects
• Requirements: Collaborate cross-functionally to write product requirements and author Business Requirements Documents [BRDs] for product enhancements and customer projects, translating those to clearly defined epics & user stories
• Project Management: Support the planning, execution, and delivery of product changes and customer projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
• Agile Leadership: Support agile development teams in sprint activities and backlog refinement
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, technology operations, and customer experience, to ensure strong execution, delivery, and change management
• Priority Management: Set and communicate priorities clearly in project backlogs to teams and stakeholders, adjusting as necessary based on changing business needs
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with execution and operations

Requirements:

• 2 years or more as a Business Analyst or a Product Owner in a software development organization
• Experience with the agile software development process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proven experience eliciting requirements and testing
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and screen mockup tools
• Proven project management skills working with cross-functional groups to get things done on time
• Experience with prototyping tools and knowledge of the real estate industry a bonus

Salary Range (US Only):

The estimated base salary range for this role in the United States is $68,000.00 - $102,000.00 per year. For compliance with local legislation, and to provide greater transparency to applicants, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location or whether the position is remote. The posted range is an estimate and reflects many factors which are subject to change. Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above, based upon geographic location, candidate experience and expertise, and other relevant factors.

Other Compensation (US Only):

This role will also be eligible for participation in a Company profit sharing bonus plan. Plan details will be provided to you upon hire.
