Business Development Director
The Director of Business Development at PDRI plays a pivotal role in driving the firm's growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This position focuses on expanding PDRI's presence in sectors such as government contracting, federal agencies, and large-scale organizational clients. The position is located in Chantilly, VA. Consideration will be given to remote employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective clients, including federal agencies, large corporations, and other organizations in need of talent management solutions. Maintain a robust network of industry contacts and strategic partners.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute business development strategies tailored to PDRI's goals, focusing on expanding into new markets and sectors. Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
Sales & Proposal Development: Lead the creation of proposals and presentations for potential clients. Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients.
Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the delivery of services to clients to ensure successful outcomes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Reporting & Analysis: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Experience: 10+ years in business development, sales, or related fields, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth. Experience in talent management consulting or related industries is preferred.
Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Education: PhD in Industrial / Organizational Psychology or a closely related field required.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and business analytics tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
