As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution environment, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure atmosphere by monitoring entry points and verifying credentials for individuals entering the location. Your presence and attention to detail help to deter unauthorized access and support the overall security-related operations of the site. You will conduct routine patrols throughout designated areas, remain highly visible to help to deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service through clear communication and a professional demeanor. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for individuals entering or exiting the premises.
• Assist with visitor management procedures, including logging visitors and providing directions as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities by maintaining a visible presence at access points.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe and report any unusual conditions.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures to support security-related operations within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by addressing inquiries and offering assistance within the scope of security-related responsibilities.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management regarding incidents, concerns, or operational updates as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
