Rate: $16.00/HR

Available Schedule: Fri & Sat: 7PM - 4AM

At Securitas, on-site Security Officers are the foundation of our organization. Our Officers are trained to provide a high level of professionalism and specialization for their assignments, help safeguard people, property, and information.

What Your Day May Look Like:

• Conduct internal/external foot patrols as well as mobile patrol to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress and egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons, inspects grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear. 
• Monitor entrance/exits, provides guidance as needed to individuals attempting to access site. 
• Complete daily activity, incident reports and logs via Securitas system. 
• Maintain access control. 
• Provide an atmosphere in which all client employee's, site visitors, and management know their needs are being met. 
• Present a good image to the client, client employee's and site visitors. 
• Operates in a calm manner and directs persons who cause disruption to leave property. 
• Protects evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; sets up barriers and signage, and provides direction or information to others. 
• Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activity to client representatives, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances and/or as required by the site. 
• Acts to ensure that all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards. 
• Carries out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Position Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older. 
• High School Diploma or GED Required. 
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift. 
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift. 
• Understands the nature of interactions with the general public.
• Must have Swing / Grave shift availability.
• Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus. 
• Must be able to interact with and greet site visitors, or client employees in a positive manner, while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to ensure completion of daily activity reports, and logs via handheld devices, and reporting alarms.
• Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist site visitors, truck drivers, public, co-workers, and Office Management.
• Must be open to communication and feedback from Office Management. 
• Must be able to adhere to 15 minute, and lunch breaks.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies, with rapid and effective judgment, and use appropriate escalation and force if required.
• Must be able to work in a team environment to ensure site/organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Must be able to remain organized and professional.
• Must be able to learn and adhere to security operations.
• Must provide high quality customer service in-person, over the phone, and via radio.
• Must have a personal vehicle, Colorado Driver’s License and clean driving record due to required mobile patrol
