Role Summary
The Lead Content Manager plays a lead role in identifying innovative solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of partner teams in Global Marketing. The position uses sophisticated analytical thought and specialized knowledge and experience to:
- Manage RFP content
- Conduct process reviews,
- Lead RFP content management system oversight,
- Advise management and key stakeholders on external best practices and supporting technology, and
- Coordinate testing and implementation of vendor systems and enhancements.
As a result, the position is a primary driver of change management, providing IPRC with a key tool in continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Support: The Lead Content Manager will be responsible for supporting and leading key projects with the IPRC and RFP lead teams.
- RFP Content Management System: The Lead Content Manager will act as product owner for the RFP content management system. This will include testing enhancements, escalating issues, partnering with the vendor, creating/maintaining resources, and facilitating training sessions.
- RFP Content Improvement Projects: The Lead Content Manager will lead efforts to improve RFP content quality and usability. Using technical skills and gathering client feedback, the Lead Content Manager will research issues, provide recommendations, and implement solutions.
- Targeted Process Reviews: The Lead Content Manager will be responsible (together with the content management team lead) for conducting in-depth process reviews aimed at improving existing processes, looking for creative solutions, and taking a consultative approach to solving internal client issues.
- Relationship Management: Primary duties include collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders whose input aids in shaping high-quality institutional content, including:
- Platform Strategy & Content Governance team;
- RFP Editors, RFP Specialists, and Consultant Database Analysts;
- Investment Strategy Writers (ISWs);
- Subject Matter Experts (SMEs);
- Portfolio Analysts, Specialists, and Managers;
- Market-Facing Professionals;
- External vendors; and
- Other operations groups.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
- A willingness to learn new things and a positive attitude
- Experience working with content management systems and repositories, including Seismic
- Understanding of the alterative investing space, including private equity and private credit is a plus.
