In this role you will oversee production planning activities in the Taste business unit while supporting the supply review process and interactions with the cross-functional teams. You will also lead, and manage a team to evolve the production planning processes as well as finish good inventory, implementing strategies, improving efficiency and ensuring business continuity.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, develop, and retain a team of planners to ensure daily replenishment of finished goods to support the order fulfilment process.
• Develop supply/operating plans which meet service level targets at the lowest total cost and inventory. 
• Provide daily, weekly and monthly KPI reporting and commentary.
• Continuously evaluate service failures/cost savings opportunities through use of performance driven metrics and root cause analysis and drive improvement initiatives to resolve issues. 
• Track and analyse production schedules and KPIs, ensuring on-time and efficient production to meet inventory and sales needs.
• Capable of translating objectives into a deliverable strategy to achieve business goals and create a competitive advantage of the product portfolio.

You bring

• 7+ years of experience in production planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management, with minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical and cross-functional skills required.
• Solid understanding of ERP systems (SAP Preferred).
• APICS - CPIM or CPM certification preferred.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or related field preferred.
